In my perspective, there cannot be an example where you use the scientific method without using math. The scientific method is part of science and science lab or works/investigation involves mathematics skills to solve the mathematical problem or equations. For example in chemistry you have to use math to solve for the cahnge in heat with various equations and in physics it requires a lot of math skills to solve basically all of the questions. Biology can and cannot be part of it, because biology labs doesn’t always consist of the scientific methods. Most of the time it is to follows the procedures adn explains the lab results from your datas. There is no hypothesis in biology labs for most of the time. So I would say that it is rare to have a science lab where you are not using the scientific methods, because the methods are to help guide you in your experiment and show how your hypothesis was wrong or why your lab didn’t come out right. These are requirements for each of your science lab.
